Upon your arrival in Antalya, the heart of the Mediterranean, you will be greeted by our professional team and transferred to your hotel in our comfortable vehicle for some rest. We spend our first day resting and preparing for the excitement of the tour.
We cross the majestic Taurus Mountains via the Alacabel Pass at an altitude of 1,825 m to reach Konya. In the Seljuk capital, we visit the Whirling Dervishes Monastery to witness the "Dance of the Monks" ritual, declared a UNESCO Heritage (entrance included). We settle into our hotel in Cappadocia at the end of the day.
We explore the unique tuff formations created by thousands of years of volcanic eruptions. After examining the cave churches and ancient frescoes at the UNESCO World Heritage Goreme Open Air Museum (entrance included), we end the day with a delicious Turkish tea in the pastoral village of Cavusin.
We visit the unique rock formations of Monks Valley (entrance included), which resemble fairy tales, and continue to the village of Sinasos, famous for its ancient Greek mansions. Here, we experience century-old handicrafts in a traditional carpet weaving workshop. We crown the day with a walk through the romantic Love Valley (Liebestal).
We discover the secrets of subterranean life in one of the labyrinthine underground cities, the most mysterious spots in the region (entrance included). We visit medieval caravanserais lined along the historic Silk Road to learn about their social importance before returning to our hotel in Antalya.
We tour Kaleiçi, the old town of Antalya, with its labyrinthine streets surrounded by bougainvillea and well-preserved mansions. After visiting jewelry and leather production centers, we photograph the unique view of the Karpuzkaldıran Waterfall, which thunders directly into the open sea.
Following our cultural tour, we enjoy the facilities of our 5-star hotel. You can take a break by the pool, reward yourself in the relaxing world of a traditional Turkish bath, or join an optional boat trip on the Manavgat River.
